Clarke Crocker

Clarke Crocker was born in SC abt 1776. He was married to Ann.  They were listed in the 1850  Lauderdale County, Mississippi census.  His son or grandson is listed below him: James William Crocker married to Hannah James.  Clarke Crocker also seved in the Georgia Militia in the War of 1812.  He was in the 1830 Alabama census, and the 1840 and 1850 Mississippi census.  James, his son or grandson, moved to Grant County, Louisiana between 1860 and 1870.  James then moved to Van Zandt County, Texas around 1880.  He had a son Thomas Clarke Crocker and Thomas had a son Charles Edward. Charles Edward had a son Jesse Thornton Crocker who is my grandfather.  James, Thomas, Charles and Jesse are all buried in Texas.
