Know
all men by these presents that I Jason Moore of the State of So.
Carolina & County of Spartanburgh for and in consideration of the
sum of forty pounds to me in hand paid at and before the sealing and
delivery of these presents by James Moore & Jason Moore Junr. Of the
State and County aforesaid, (the receipt whereof does hereby
acknowledge) have bargained and sold and by these presents do
bargain and sell unto the said James Moore and Jason Moore, all the
good household stuff, and Implements of household & all other goods
property whatsoever herein mentioned & now remaining & being in my
possession (Viz) five head horses one gray, one bay horse, two bay
mares, & one rone mare, all branded thus IM, twenty nine head of
cattle marked with a crop in the left ear, & a half crop off the
right, twenty head of hogs & five heads of sheep & eleven head of
goats, all marked wit ha crop in the left & a half crop in the right
ear, one still all her vessels & implements thereunto belonging two
weavers looms with all their tacking & harness one wagon with her
gears, harness, & five ploughs with their gears & tackling, axes,
hoes & any all my plantation and mechanical tools whatsoever, six
beds with their stand and furniture, all my tables, chairs, dishes,
ovens, pots & all my other household stuff & furniture now remaining
unto my household in any wise appertaining, to have and to hold, all
and singular the said property goods, household stuff and implements
of household and tools & every of them, by these, presents bargained
& sold unto the said James Moore & Jason Moore Junr. Their Exors,
assigns, & assigns forever and I the said Jason Moore for myself my
Exors and ___ all & singular the said property, goods & household
stuff unto the said James & Jason Moore those Exors and assigns
against me the said Jason Moore Senr. My Exors and assigns & against
all or any other person and present whatsoever, shall & will warrant
and forever defend by these presents of which property goods the
said Jason Moore have put the said James & Jason Moore in possession
of by Delivering them one horse in the name of all the other
mentioned property at the sealing & deliver thereof, In Witness
thereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the second day of May

law directs, whom his oath saith that he saw the within named Jason
