9^th October 1804

This Indenture made this fourth day of October A D on one the thousand seventeen hundred and ninety nine and in the twenty third years of the Independence if the United States of American Between Jason Moore of the State of South Carolina and County of Spartanburgh of the one part and William Moore of the State and County aforesaid of the other part. Wheretoforth that the said Jason Moore for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and ten dollars Cash money of the state aforesaid to have on hand part of the said William Moore and before the Sealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt as hereof and hereby acknowledged by the said Jason Moore hath Bargained and sold and by these presents both bargain Sale unto the said William Moore a certain parcel of Land supposed to contain ninety acres being part of a tract of Land containing one hundred and sixty acres granted to Jason Moore by a Patent bearing date the third of December one thousand seven hundred and Eighty Seven and in the twentieth years of the Independence of America the said parcel of land being all that tract of land lying on S Western  section of Wards Creek beginning that at the ____ ___ running with said line to the ___ corner Running South by William Fords line to a corner on a ___ along said line to Black Oak corner on Bennetts land then along said line to said Creek running thereon up said Creek to a Shoal including one acre on the side of said Creek ___the shoal thence up said creek to beginning including all the singular and priviledges and profits hereof unto Said William Moore his heirs and assigns forever to have and to hold the aforesaid parcel of Land containing ninety acres More or less unto Said William Moore his heirs and assigns without any manner of trouble ____ or denial of him say I Jason Moore his heirs and assigns and lastly he the said Jason Moore hereby for himself and his heirs EXV Adm the aforesaid parcel of land unto said William Moore his heirs and assigns against ___ the said Jason Moore his heirs and assigns and all and every other person and person whatsoever Shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents witnesses whereof the said Jason Moore that herewith set his hand and seal 7^th day and year first above mentioned.

Personally appeared Thomas Cook before me William Lancaster a Justice of Quorum in Said District and Duly made oath that he saw Jason Moore Sign Seal and Deliver the within Deed for the ___ purpose within mentioned and that he also saw William Otts Witness this same with himself.
