District, SC, on 25 Jan 1844; he was 50. Edwards Family Bible has death

was 62. On 25
Feb 1862 Robert Gains and John Staggs petitioned to be executors of her
estate.

family bible. She was four years old when her father died, and
subsequently her mother would become her guardian.

of the Zoar Methodist Church.

the married heirs were needful of their shares and that the only way for
them to receive them was to file this action. The plaintiffs were the
widow Jane Wheeler, David C. Wheeler, Austin Edwards and wife Mary, Robert
Gains and wife Rachel, John Staggs and wife Elizabeth, William Wheeler,
Martha Wheeler, Andrew Wheeler, Margaret Wheeler, Nancy Wheeler, James
Wheeler, Peter Wheeler and Alexander Wheeler. The defendant was John
Wheeler.
